Paul Blokhuis

Statesecretary of Health, Welfare and Sports

The statesecretary will join us on May 16. This session will be held in Dutch.
De staatssecretaris zal kort een presentatie geven over het preventie akkoord. Verder wil hij graag met alle onderzoekers van CaRe in gesprek over hoe het preventie akkoord van invloed is op het preventie onderzoek dat wij uitvoeren.

One of the activities of CaRe are the annual CaRe days, which will this year take place on May 16 and 17 in ‘s Hertogenbosch. Usually the first day is especially for PhD-students, the second day is for PhD-students and staff. However, this year an exception is made, since our Statesecretary of Health,Welfare and Sport, Paul Blokhuis, will join us on the first day. So, senior researchers are also cordially invited for the afternoon session on the first day, starting at 15.15h. This session will be held in Dutch. The Statesecretary will give a short presentation, followed by lively discussion with all CaRe-researchers.

Furthermore, the first day is about scientific and professional integrity with, amongst others, lectures from Lex Bouter and Fiona Godlee and a Dilemma Game.

The second day is about creating a successful research program, with lectures from, amongst others, Maroeska Rovers, Jochen Cals and Bart Kiemeney.
